Rafter insulation refers to the pitched part of a roof, which can be insulated with slabs or rolls. ROCKWOOL rafter insulation helps to provide thermal, fire and acoustic protection for roof spaces.

​

Installation Method:

​

• Temporary floor built and insulation of temporary lifting equipment (if necessary)

​

• 50mm air gap left for ventilation

​

• 75mm rigid foam board insulation installed directly to underside of roof rafters

​

• Draught proof tape installed to joists

​

• Gable end insulated with 100mm rigid foam board and stud built to attach to
